There’s no better way to show your love for cannabis than with a pair of 420-themed undies.
For men such as me that partake in cannabis culture, cannabis underwear is the perfect under-styling of choice. For one, they express your lifestyle, but they’re also comfortable to wear.
Underwear and cannabis have become more popular in recent times, especially since marijuana is now easier to access for the better part of our country.
I’ve always owned a large collection and variety of underwear.
But, my love for cannabis has always been reflected by the underwear I’ve collected over the years. After all, nearly half of the ones I own 420-themed (and that’s no exaggeration).
If you’ve shopped in local clothing storefronts in search of an underwear and cannabis discovery, you’ve probably noticed that finding marijuana-themed underwear isn’t easy. Most stores, at best, will carry cannabis-branded shirts and marijuana leaf-stamped socks, but no underwear.
By far, shopping online is one of the best ways to come across some of the best cannabis-themed underwear around.
Take for example Amazon; a leading online marketplace where consumers can shop for customized clothing products that aren’t always available in stores. For this reason alone, Amazon is where a bulk of my underwear shopping takes place.
But adding to that, Amazon is affordable and their options of underwear styles are vaster than any in-store selection I’ve seen.
Cannabis-Themed Underwear
My collection has grown to nearly fifty pairs, most of which I’ve received in the past year since my best friend, toking companion, and fiancé learned of my love for anything and everything cannabis-related.
From holidays to birthdays, underwear and cannabis is something she always keeps in mind when gift shopping for me. If she buys me something, there will always be a couple of pairs waiting to surprise me.
Today, I’ll review a couple of personally-owned pairs of cannabis underwear so you too can enjoy the best of both worlds; cannabis expression and everyday comfort.
Weed-Leaf Ganja Lounge Shorts/Underwear
These are technically boxers, but nowadays, boxers are modern-day underwear as it’s what most men prefer and wear.
First and foremost, these quality-made boxers are a tremendous bargain; a three-piece set costs only a few cups of Starbucks coffee.
The elastic band makes this cannabis underwear set one of the most comfortable ones you’ll wear.
I’m a 38″ waist and they rest on my hips comfortably. In fact, half the time, I don’t even know I’m wearing them.
Its official product description states these are wearable for waste sizes ranging from 28″ to 46″.
When it comes to underwear, not all are equal. Some aren’t comfortable, some aren’t made with quality material, and some lack both. But when it comes to cannabis underwear, these are some of the best I’ve owned, not only because of the cost-to-value aspect but because of how well-made they are.
When I received my set, I closely inspected each pair expecting some craftsmanship flaws because of the low price. But to my surprise, there was no loose stitching, and, the design was just as colorful as imaged.
The high-cotton material blend means they’re machine-washable safe. It also means they’re durable, and because they’re made of mostly cotton, you won’t have to worry about design fading (at least not for a long time).
Marijuana Pot-Leaved Underwear
My fiancé purchased these for me a few months back on my birthday, and boy, I’m happy she did.
Let me tell you why.
These are made using spandex (15%) and polyester (85%). They’re also made using a stitching design that’s engineered to keep air flowing where needed.
That said, these are on par with comfort levels of some of the most expensive pairs of underwear I’ve owned (and I’ve owned $50 Polo and Tommy Hilfiger sets).
While not as colorful as the cannabis underwear set reviewed above, the design returns to the true “black and green” roots of marijuana. The simple design featuring green marijuana leaves with a black background is simplistic yet beautiful (it reminds me of the album cover for Dr. Dre’s The Chronic).
One noteworthy attribute of these is the waistband. The easy-stretch waistband ensures a comfort-perfect fit every time; it’s not too loose and not too tight, it’s just perfect. The inside of the waistband is lightly padded using cotton, delivering a feel-good waste sensation.
Again, these are quality-made underwear. As such, you won’t need to worry about the design fading. In the past few months, I’ve machine-washed these at least a dozen times, and maybe even a couple dozen.
To this day, the leaves are still eccentrically vibrant, the stitch lines are still securely, and the underwear’s interior cotton is in great, non-ripped condition (which speaks volumes of the quality used in production).
Also, if you tend to live an active lifestyle or if you have a job consisting of physical labor, these are perfect for you.
Because of the dry-fit technology, they firmly but gently grip the legs to absorb sweat and to keep you cool.
From the golf course to work, from the bedroom to couch-lounging nights, these are some of the best you’ll come across in the underwear and cannabis niche.
